Miss Shalimar holds an Associate in Arts Degree and a Child Development Credential at the Master Teacher/Site Supervisor Level. She has over 35 years experience in the field of Early Childhood Education, 28 of which have been with Growing Years.
Miss Shalimar loves to get to know each child’s personality and watch them accomplish things they thought they could never do. “I’m a preschool teacher because the love and laughs I receive from the children is incomparable to any job I could ever have!” Miss Shalimar also enjoys talking to the parents and getting to know the families of our school.
When she has free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching movies, reading, and spending time in Lake Tahoe. “As the Director it is my goal to be a resource for our families. If you ever have any questions or concerns that I can help you with, please feel free to talk to me.”
