LAST MONTH…

The month of November was very busy for the Redwoods. We welcomed the Willows into our class and we’ve been having lots of fun together. We talked about being thankful and shared what we are thankful for. We also worked on a special Thanksgiving project that we took home.

For letter “M” we explored color MIXING. We participated in different color mixing activities and even created our own color.

During “T” week we made thank you cards for our friends / family and we’ve been practicing using “Thank You” with our thank you jar.

Thank you for all the pictures that were brought for our Ofrenda (altar) to celebrate The Day Of The Dead. We really enjoyed eating Pan de Muerto and talking about how we celebrate Dia de los Muertos.

This month we’ll introduce our own class Elf On The Shelf, we’ll make some yummy cookies for letter “C”, and we’ll talk about Christmas and the importance of giving. We’ll learn new holiday songs and spend time making a special gift for our family.
