LAST MONTH…
During the month of November we talked about being thankful and shared what we are thankful for. We made special gifts for our families and enjoyed learning new Thanksgiving songs.
We created lots of fun art activities like water color paint on giant coffee filters, handprint trees and turkeys and fancy festive necklaces. We enjoyed sensory experiences with water marbles and kinetic sand.
We continue to introduce the letter of the week and practice learning the letters in our name. Some items that were brought for our letter box for letters G and H were grapes, gorilla, heart, horse and hand. Keep those letter box items coming in!
Thank you for all the pictures that were brought for our Ofrenda (altar) to celebrate The Day Of The Dead. We really enjoyed eating Pan de Muerto, drinking hot chocolate and talking about how we celebrate Dia de los Muertos.
This month we’ll talk about the Holiday Season and the importance of giving. We’ll learn new holiday songs and spend time making a special gift for our family.
